The scheme of giving free residential plots to houseless families for building construction was being implemented sporadically in Gujarat. The scheme was revised five years ago on 1st May 2017, Gujarat's foundation day. In the reform resolution published by the Panchayat and Village Development Department to provide free house plots of maximum 100 square meters but not less than 50 square meters to the homeless families living in the villages, the Gram Sabha was asked to do wide publicity.

 Committees were formed to dispose of applications for free homestead plots under the free plot scheme and to avoid delays. Out of which the Land Committee was asked to dispose of the allotment applications at the beginning of every month.

The development commissioner has also sent the application form, its specimen, Talati certificate and specimen undertaking letter of the applicant along with the order issued to the DDO last week. So that applications for free plot allotment can be a collected and disposed of from homeless families in rural areas quickly.

A chocolate cyst is a condition that is a commonly found in women who are in reproductive age and have endometriosis. In medical terms, it is also known as an endometriotic cyst. It is a condition in which an ovarian cyst is a filled with old blood and can affect the working of ovaries and even lead to an infertility. 


Chocolate Cyst: Causes

Any menstruating female can a develop endometriosis. It’s more likely to a happen between ages 25 and 40. It is hypothesized that when the menstrual blood flows, some of it flows back down the fallopian tubes and gets embedded into the surroundings of the uterus  or the uterine wall. In July this year, U.S. lawmakers asked the armed services to expedite efforts toward developing Directed Energy Weapons (DEWs). The U.S. defense industrial complex has been testing High beam laser weapons in conjunction with the military at an unprecedented speed.


U.S. Defense giant Lockheed Martin recently revealed that it had delivered a 300-kilowatt laser to the Defense Department for use in future Army high-energy laser demonstrations. It is the highest-powered laser to date for the U.S. Department Of Defense.


Lockheed Martin developed the laser as part of the Pentagon’s High Energy Laser Scaling Initiative (HELSI), which aims to expand the directed energy industrial base and enhance the caliber of laser beams.


 in spite of to the press release, Lockheed was chosen by the Pentagon in 2019 to scale its spectrum beam merged high energy laser architecture to the 300 kW-class level as part of the HELSI project. The task was done ahead of schedule,  in spite of to the announcement.


Given its accuracy, quick response, and high “hit probability” against fast-moving missiles, DEWs are becoming more  famous as non-kinetic hard and soft kill defenses against ballistic missile threats.


Lockheed Martin vice president of advanced product solutions Rick Cordaro stated that the laser uses “spectral beam combination architecture.”


Spectral beam combining (SBC), also referred to as wavelength beam combining, is the process of superimposing several laser emitter outputs at distinct wavelengths to create a single beam.


The laser will partake in and assist U.S. Army’s Indirect Fires Protection Capability-High Energy Laser (IFPC-HEL) scheduled for lab and field testing this year.


IFPC-HEL program is one of the 35 key modernization goals for the Army. While it is run by the Rapid Capabilities and Critical Technologies (RCCTC) Office, the program is part of the service’s priority area for air and missile defense.


Previously, RCCTC coordinated the development of the Directed Energy Maneuver-Short Range Air Defense (DEM-SHORAD) prototype, which was tested against drones and mortars last year with limited success.


By 2022, the U.S. Army intends to have two different types of laser weapons systems for air defense, including weapons of the 50 kilowatts and 300-kilowatt types installed on General Dynamics’ Stryker armored vehicles.


U.S. Military Deploying Laser As Top Priority

The U.S. Defense Department is keen on directed energy systems, such as high-energy lasers and high-power microwaves, to defend troops and military installations against aerial threats, such as short-range air defense and drones, rockets, mortars, and artillery.

Since there is no ‘deployment time’ with lasers, they are an excellent instrument for aerial interception, which makes them ideal for missile defense systems.


To that end, the  2023 National Defense Authorization Act calls for bolstering the U.S. and allied air defenses against unmanned aerial systems (UAS/UAV), rockets, and artillery, as conflicts in Europe, the Middle East, and a possible war in the Western Pacific.


The delivery of a 300kW laser weapon by Lockheed Martin comes almost a month after it delivered the High Energy Laser with Integrated Optical-Dazzler and Surveillance (HELIOS), a 60+ kW-class laser, to the U.S. Navy. HELIOS was mounted on the Arleigh Burke-class destroyer USS Preble (DDG-88).

Chana Dal Pulao Recipe: A quick and easy recipe made with gram dal, rice and mild spices. If you want to eat something light during summers then this is the perfect recipe.


Ingredients of Chana Dal Pulao


300 Gram Rice


1 cups Chana dal soaked


1 large Onion, sliced


2 tomato puree


2 Green chilli


1 tbsp ginger garlic paste


2 whole red chili


1 tsp Cumin


1 Bay leaf


2 Black Cardamom


2 Cardamom


8-9 Black Pepper


1/2 tsp Turmeric


1/2 tsp coriander powder


to taste Salt


2 tbsp oil


How to Make Chana Dal Pulao


1.First of all, soak the chana dal for 2 hours. This will make the dal soft and cook easily.


2.Heat oil in a pressure cooker and fry all the whole spices, whole red chilies for two minutes and then fry the onions till they turn light golden.


3.Add ginger garlic paste and fry, add tomato puree, coriander powder and turmeric powder and fry well.


4.Now add lentils and rice to it and mix well with spices. Put two glasses of water and cover the cooker.


5.After two whistles turn off the gas and wait for the pressure to release.


6.Open the pressure cooker and take out the chana dal pulao in a serving bowl and serve it with chutney.

How to Make Kashmiri Pulao


1.Mix milk, cream, sugar, salt.


2.Drain rice, keep aside.


3.Heat ghee in a heavy pan and add cumin seeds, cinnamon, bay leaf, cardamoms, cloves.


4.When they splutter add rice and fry in ghee for 2 minutes.


5.Add milk mixture and 1/2 cup water.


6.Bring to a boil,cover, lower the heat and simmer till cooked.


7.Mix in dried fruit very gently.


8.Serve hot, garnished with rose petals.

3.Add ginger garlic paste, saute for a few seconds.


4.Then add chana sprouts, beans sprout and spinach, mix it well and add coriander and mint leaves.


5.Now add brown rice, mix rice gently for 3 minutes on a low to medium flame.


6.Pour 1200 ml water into the pan and mix well. Add salt to taste, stir and tightly cover the pan.


7.Let the a pulao cook until all the water is a absorbed. Cook on a low to medium flame.


8.Now turn off the flame, leave the pulao closed for 6 minutes.


9.Garnish pulao with coriander leavesand capsicum and serve.

3.Strain the water from the rice and mix half of ghee. Heat the remaining half of ghee in a pan. Add dry fruits and fry till golden-brown.


4.Add whole spices and fry for about half a minute. Add the milk mixture and boil. Add the rice and cook on low flame for 10-12 min with cover.


5.Garnish with khoya, nuts and serve hot.
