Apart from free distribution of foodgrains by the state government, the Government of India has also taken a noble approach to ensure adequate foodgrains to the needy families during the lockdown.  Accordingly, 1.20 lakh quintals of wheat and 2 lakh quintals of rice with a market value of Rs 50 crore were distributed free of cost to NFSA cardholder families in the state in April. 

 On the occasion of the 70th founding day of the state, the Chief Minister announced to distribute free foodgrains to 21 lakh AL "card holders of the middle class families in the state for the second time in a row in May for the second time in a row.  

Not only this, the decision was taken by the Chief Minister with the feeling that everyone should get foodgrains.  The Prime Minister's Poor Welfare and Pojna benefits were also given to such NFSA families during the month of May and 16.50 lakh quintals of wheat, rice and chickpeas with a market value of Rs.  Another sensational decision in the wider interest of 20 lakh NFSA families to distribute free foodgrains to them even during the month of June.  And inspired the Civil Supplies Department. 


 Following these guidelines of Shri Vijaybhai Rupani, foodgrains were distributed to such NFSA card holders in the state from 15th to 20th June.  Benefit of distribution of this foodgrain is 75% of the households i.e. 2.50 lakh Karmapakos at the fair and 13 lakh quintals of wheat with market value of Rs.

 He appealed to the 75 beneficiaries of the newly constructed Awas Chijana at Hinglajnagar in Rajkot to get modern and comfortable accommodation and wished them economic and social momentum in their lives.  


While Gujarat is going to become a surplus by systematic management of water tapitipa, then in Rajkot Mwdi area with MLD capacity with modern technology based water treatment plant headworks at a cost of Rs.  Chief Minister Shri Rupani expressed confidence that by constructing the water at a cost of Rs. 2.5 crore, the water will be purified and its proper distribution will be met.

 Shri Vijaybhai, the Prime Minister of Java, said that fast planting is being done near Aji Dam to make the people of Sheet Dar feel like a jungle safari.  At that time more than 15 social and cultural forests have been prepared by the state government to make Gujarat green. 


 On Dudhsagar Road Rs.  Stating that the construction of a raised party at a cost of Rs 3.5 crore will facilitate transportation in any season, the Chief Minister added that at a time when Gujarat is developing very fast, the state government has erected several sitting bridges and hollowed out the standing bridges for the convenience of the family.
