The first meeting of the Policy Commission for Manthan Agriculture and Farmers' Prosperity was held.  He was of the view that setting up such a storage at the local level could be more helpful to the farmer this year.  The Chief Minister, while instructing the agri-export incentives, added that the criteria for calculating the income of farmers in agricultural commodities along with the international residue of chemical pesticides should be based on their profits in certain areas of international demand.  He also added that by changing the role of markets, more direct benefits could be given to the farmers.  The Central Government is working in a planned manner to double the income of the farmers of the country as well as for their socio-economic development.  Certain ropes have been made to achieve the goal of farmers' prosperity.  A high level meeting was recently held by the Policy Commission in Delhi to discuss this.  Chief Minister Shri Vijaybhai Rupani attended the first meeting of the High Power Committee of Chief Minister for Transformation of Indian Agriculture.  Mr. Vijaybhai Rupani emphasized on the need to develop a national level system in which the need of importers can be known as well as the corresponding producer-farmer can sell his produce with certain quality.  Shri Vijaybhai Rupani, with reference to Essential Commodities Act-19, Essential Commodities Act-18), clearly stated that the minimum support price for crops is announced by the Central Government - Minimum Support Price - Minimum Support Price.  The Chief Minister also suggested setting up of Regional Office of Accelerated and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) in the state for the purpose of promoting agricultural exports in Gujarat.  

The High Commission has been constituted by the Policy Commission as the convener of Maharashtra Chief Minister Shri Devendra Fadnavis.  , Chief Ministers of Arunachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Karnataka and Haryana are included.  Presenting his other suggestions in the discussions of this meeting, the Chief Minister also recommended to link the Grameen Krishi Bazaar with the storage facility.  He watered.  He also advocated for micro-irrigation for efficient use of resources.  Shri Vijayabai Rupani gave the example of Gujarat's Suryashakti Kisan Yojana 'Sky' in this context.  In this regard, he said that if any farmer associated with Khazar storage.
