* Positive meeting with nine appointed Education Minister Hon'ble Jitubhai Waghan Saheb and Finance Minister Shri Kanubhai Patel Saheb regarding outstanding issues of Secondary, Higher Secondary Teachers and Granted Principals *
Today, Hon'ble Education Minister Shri Jitubhai Waghan Saheb and Finance Minister Shri Kanubhai Patel discussed at length about the long pending issues of Secondary, Higher Secondary Teachers and Granted Principals. * In the meeting which lasted for about an hour, on the letterpad given by our teachers' union and in the last state meeting held on 10/9/21 at Dr. Hedgewar Bhavan, we hope that the issues from all over the state will be resolved quickly. The way each case was discussed * case to case * became the most enjoyable event ever for the organization.

Yesterday we had positive discussions on the following questions
(1) The five-year employment of all the teaching assistants appointed under the fixed salary policy shall be treated consecutively with all kinds of incidental benefits.
(2) To pay the installments of the Seventh Pay Commission in cash immediately.
(3)) Recruitment of old teachers should be done immediately as per the recruitment announcement of 2017 and new advertisement should be given.
(4) To give additional increase to the principal of the granted school as per the resolution dated 07-01-17. The principal coming to the grant aided school from the government school was given the protection of salary and pay scale and the service was considered consecutive.
(5) To revive the posts of non-academic staff of non-government aided secondary and higher secondary schools and to start recruitment of class-3 and class-3.
(6) To approve the establishment of four teachers including the principal in a two class school.
(7) The salary of junior teachers is higher than that of senior teachers due to the entry level pay scale circular among the higher secondary teachers who were appointed in fixed salary in the year 18-2000 and paid in full salary before 01-01-2008. To amend this and fix the salary of the senior employee by adding an increment in the entry level pay scale of 10310.

The meeting was attended by Hon'ble Minister Shri Bhikhabhai Patel, State President Bhikhabhai Patel, Union Minister Ghanshyam Bhai Patel, Treasurer and Secondary Chairman Rameshbhai Chaudhary and our recognized candidate Shri Jagdishbhai Chavda.
Hon'ble Minister Shri Jitubhai Waghani Saheb and Hon'ble Kanubhai Patel Saheb quickly convened a meeting of the organization with the officials of the Education Department and also attended and expressed their commitment to get our questions right * The organization was also very satisfied *
After the meeting of the Hon'ble Minister, a meeting of the organization was held in which all the cadres of the National Federation of Education were engaged in the election of the Board of Secondary Education on 25/9/21 with full strength and all the candidates were instructed to become the winners. An appeal was made to arrange tea, snacks, banners including voter list and teacher friends to be present at the polling station all day so that the voters do not face any problem.
