Women's Empowerment Self-help group to become women Economically capable Mahendra Variya Become Women is a social support.  The contribution of women in child rearing, social affairs, shelter, agriculture has been special.

Today, women are not only limited but also become entrepreneurs in other professions.  For the empowerment of women in Gujarat, a self help group has been formed through Mission Mangalam.

Today, many women of the state have become self-sufficient by producing and selling various items through self-help groups.  As well as being an inspiration to other women.

The sisters of Navdurga Mahila Mandal Self Help Group of Ghantoli village in Mandvi taluka of Surat earn Rs.  Selling five to six lakh vermi compost manure has made the slogan "Hum disi sach nahi" meaningful.  Organizational power is the best example of what can be achieved for economic gain or social change.

Nice fairs are organized by the state and central government for women to earn money and get employment.  As many as 15 tribal sisters from Mandvi taluka have sold Alasiya Vermi compost manure at a fair of goods produced by a self-help group at a recent fair held at Adajan in Surat under the auspices of the state's Lively Hood.  The success story of the sisters of the self help group is very inspiring.

Such is the success story of 8 year old Ashaben Chaudhary of Ghantoli village in Surat district selling vermicompost manure.  They say that together with 15 sisters of our village, Navdurga Sakhi Mandal has been formed.  Through which we make compost from earthworm sitting at home and sell it.  Telu whi mp Ashaben Chaudhary, a member of Mahila Mandal for the sake of you most, says about the work of her group that in the beginning of the year 2016, the sisters of our Sakhi Mandal were only saving and lending.

But in the year 2013, she started making vermi compost manure with the intention of providing supplementary employment and income to the village sisters along with agriculture.  Since farming was the main source of income in the village, selling natural manure was an easy way out.  Which also does not harm the environment.

Today we produce about 20 tons of earthworm and compost manure in the heat of the year.  Sakhi Mandal member Shrimant Lakshmiben Vaghela says, "We started saving Rs 50 per month.  At present our Mandal has collected about 50 thousand rupees.  We provide financial assistance to the sisters of Sakhi Mandal when they are in need.  Usually in the villages there is no other source of income except agriculture so we women started this Sakhi Mandal together.

We were given loan up to one lakh low interest rate by the government to buy Gujarat Qu goods.  Whenever we have time, we sit down and sell the branded bracelets with the names of the people.  "We are very much encouraged by the government," he said.  By organizing such fairs across the state, stalls are also provided free of cost including all arrangements for coming and going, accommodation, meals.

At such fairs, we sell approximately āŠĨી 60 to 7 thousand.  As a result, we have increased the savings along with the daily expenses of our house.

"From these savings, I was able to give higher education to my two children," Lakshmiben said.  According to Santosh Dinakaran, Manager, Lively Hood, the main purpose of the fair is to encourage such self-help groups as well as to create a market.

Through which they have to make a living by getting supplementary income.  The approach of Mura Minister Shri Vijaybhai Rupani to become a partner in the development of the state has become a losing message of such fairs.  This is March 12, 2020
